| Description: | Introduction Welcome to the first DUAL Link Interface distribution for FreeBSD 1.1. This code and the installation is strictly BETA-TEST, so if you have any problems, try and work it out yourself (especially the installation), and contact Warren Toomey wkt@cs.adfa.edu.au if you can't work it out or you have a suggestion to fix/improve things. You will need: An untouched copy of the FreeBSD 1.1 kernel source code. KISS-mode TNC connected to your machine via serial cable. Lots of luck! Maybe not, but it's best to have some. Note that the patches file is the most difficult part of the operation; if you have made any substantial changes to the kernel code, the patches will not be applied correctly, and you may have to hand-patch your kernel code to install DUAL. |
